Starnieuws made it very clear that we were looking for 15.000 euros for the publication of Points of Recognition. Thanks to them, even more people knew about our upcoming photobook.

Waterkant.net is one of the largest online news sites about Suriname. At the beginning of our Kickstarter campaign they published our press release, and through their article we received our first unknown backers.
Kickstarter campaign
In order to print the first 1000 editions of Points of Recognition, I will run a campaign on Kickstarter, offering a diverse range of rewards to people who pledge, among others a signed copy of my book, a personal meetup session, or a 5-day private tour to visit the indigenous community of Suriname. The campaign will run from 21 January to 20 February 2019.
